Solder a 22kOhm resistor to one leg of each logo and add ~6" wire tails to both leads. Insulate the exposed connections with heatshrink.

Wouldn't that have been easier before you epoxied them in?

the leads are fragile. If they bend back and forth enough to weaken the metal and snap off, that would be a problem. Having the big trailing wires hanging around as lever arms flapping in the winds of chaos during other assembly steps struck me as risky.

step 90 adds strain relief :-)
