Two days or so ago I wrote in a comment, "The band saw is possibly the flimsiest, crappiest power tool Sears has ever made and I'm only using it until I manage to kill it."

A few weeks ago, a friend was telling me how crappy it would be if her computer died because she couldn't afford a new one. 2 days later, it died.
