Solder 3" lengths of bare copper wire (the picture shows before stripping the insulation off) to the bent back flaps on both ends of each metal mesh strip. These will function as temporary grounding leads during powder coating. After powder coating, they'll be replaced by 'final' grounding leads (which should not themselves be powdercoated and would fall off during curing anyway, thus they're not added now).
