A bit like your snow: they're an area denial measure put down by nature. Bees cover the carpet, pursuing the ultimate flower, oblivious to barefoot apes like me. I've learnt to dance across the garden.
I'm glad to see your blog is alive. I've been sick for the past few months so mine has gone silent. Hopefully my exams and catchup exams will be over soon, so that between the hours of jury duty I have immediately afterwards I will have some time to write.
Hello and good stuff! You have some Serious Nature going on there...
Ceiling is well insulated, yes; it was built to be open and it's nice to have uncluttered overhead space for moving large panels, as well as [soon to be installed] overhead indirect lighting.
Original house plans say 'office', but it's an even better shop space. Yes, I have to carry big things upstairs, but I can run all the dust collection under the floor (and along the garage ceiling below) instead of overhead, and have the blower not in the room.
[Intenally squeeing] can't wait to get a bit farther along on it...
Call me jealous
Date: 2017-11-14 10:42 pm (UTC)Your somewhat open-looking ceiling concerns me. I hope it's well insulated. No amount of scroll-sawing would keep me warm in there.
My yard has a thin coating of purple jacaranda flowers at the moment:
