xiphmontEach piece of plate will be machined into final form in several steps, mostly using the rotary table on the mill. Using a #18 split point bit, drill four holes in each plate for mounting purposes according to the below diagram. These holes are also needed as mounting holes for #8-32 machine bolts in the final design.
Debur the holes with 180 grit sandpaper on both sides after drilling.
